
Delia Marinescu is an award-winning journalist. With over a decade of experience, her reporting and writing appeared in The New York Times, Der Spiegel, ZDF, VICE, and Slate, among others, covering stories from Romania, USA, Jordan, Brazil, Kazakhstan, and Pakistan on a wide range of social issues. One of her investigative reports led to the arrest of a cult leader in Transylvania. Delia was also a recipient of Fulbright’s Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship (2020–2021), having studied and worked in Phoenix, Arizona, focusing on social issues. "Yesterday Ended Last Night" is her filmmaking debut.
