Vasile Todinca is a writer-director and assistant director. He studied acting and directing at Babeș-Bolyai University, where Radu Jude mentored him. Vasile has worked as second assistant director on "Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn" (2021) and "The Watcher" (2022). He directed the short film "Try Again" (2018) as part of his university degree which was selected in Transilvania IFF and received the Best Script award at OKaua Festival, and the short film "Jackpot" (2024), co-directed with Vlad Popa, which was selected for Tallinn Black Nights IFF. He has also produced the short film "The Bed of Procustes" (Locarno, 2018) and participated in workshops such as IDFA Academy, Aristoteles, and FILM+.
