"Sometimes I find it hard to remain authentic to my emotions as a protagonist. I have to initiate actions as a director and then not to control them afterwards, I have to let them go and forget about them, to see where this can take me as a protagonist."

Carla Fotea and Diana Caravia, who have been integral parts of microFILM for several years, are now stepping into more prominent roles alongside esteemed producer Ada Solomon.

Much like its protagonist Horia, the film has been on a journey of its own: crossing borders, connecting with diverse audiences, and leaving a mark with its sincerity and charm.

"One thing is that I do truly love genre movies, the appeal they have with the public, and the fact that we don’t have a lot of them in Romania, so I want to help remedy that."

"I am a gay director, and I always thought that I am responsible as an artist and citizen to speak about this topic. It is my main fight in my everyday life, standing up for the equality and rights for the LGBTQ+ community."
